SoftRock v5.0
I have been watching Software Defined Radio grow. I have been interested in the SDR-1000 from flex-radio and the GNURadio. Both are out of my price range.Along came the SoftRock. It is receive only but can use the same software as the SDR-1000 and only costs $26.50 (I bought two oscillator boards and spent $34.00). It works wonderfully. The only draw back was the surface mount parts. I had never soldered anything that was surface mount. Well, now I have.
