Boat (bōt) n. A hole in the water to throw money into.I ordered a rack mount ALR Revolution Quad 6 motherboard on Ebay. I ordered a case for the board on Ebay and it came with everything: power supplies, motherboard with CPU cards, keyboard card, raid cages with backplane, etc. So I still have the 4 processor board without a case.
I changed priorities to the case that was nearly a computer. I ordered 4 processors for it (it can hold 6) and some RAM. I found the hard drive drawer on Ebay for $50 so I got that as well. All in all I have put right at $1000 into it and it still does not boot. It needs VMRs for the CPUs. Maybe someday the boat will boot.
